About Us

Centre for Desert and  Ocean  is  a  registered  Wildlife Conservation Organization (with 12 A and 80G) clearances. The aims and objectives of the CEDO is to do wildlife conservation work in the remote desert region of Kutch district  in Gujarat state of India. Native tree plantation, Nature education camps and Wildlife and  nature  related  orientation  programs  are organized  by us. We believe in "  Think  Global , act local  ". Wildlife and bird base tourism is promoted by us in a responsible way. I have some 22 years of working experience as field Scientist in Kutch district, Eritrea NE Africa, USA and Mexico. 

We want to work on large scale native trees aforestation in saline deserts of Kutch and Gujarat. CEDO is keen to work for such innovative projects with other NGO's, Corporates and Government organizations.

How to reach us in Kutch

 

Bhuj is the district head quarter, we are in Moti Virani village 53 kms from Bhuj. One can reach Bhuj by Air two flights are there every day from Mumbai (Bombay) to Bhuj. It takes 1 hour from Mumbai to Bhuj by Air.

 

There is no flight connection from Ahemdabad or Delhi. Bhuj can be reached by Trains coming from Mumbai, Delhi, Ahemdabad, Jodhpur, and many other parts of India.

 

There are many buses from Ahemdabad, Baroda (Vadodara), Surat, Rajkot, Jamnagar, Bhavnagar.

 

We arrange pick up and drop from Bhuj. One can come from Little Rann of Kutch to our place (7 hours drive).

 

It takes 1 hour time to reach CEDO- from Bhuj.
